kimbo_frog
Noticed one of my girls wasn't quite right today. I thought she must have been laying as she was indoors when I was feeding the rest of the girls as they all came running out and over to me. Thought Id just have a closer look at her, so popped inside... as I did she tried to stand up and get out the door to the run, but she just fell out in a heap. I gathered up the poor girl and had a good look at her. No hard crop, no swelling around the vent, Ive wormed them all recently, no sign of lice, eyes nice and clear.... She makes no attempt to eat or drink... Is unable to stand...she just splays her legs out....no resistance in her feet what so ever... She is indoors in a cat basket...just sitting there...eyes half closed...very listless... I dont know what to do!.... Does anyone know of a local "chicken friendly" vet?...
