was surprised to be told a delivery date of January 8th, a mere 3 weeks

have sales dropped off or have they increased production ?

I'm sure the chicks (now 17 & 14 weeks old) will be happy to be out of their Arc

unfortunately one of the chicks, the Lemon Brahma that hatched in the incubator, has turned out to be a cock so will be rehoming him soon

it's such a shame because he is the friendliest of the bunch, comes when you whistle and will sit on your hand... the kids will be so upset to see him go :(

wishfull thinking I know but, he may not be a croker and we could keep home :)

P.S. we'll have a red Eglu for sale soon, has plastic roosting bars but no run

Last Christmas we found out that our two lovely friendly brahmas were males. We tried to tell ourselves that we could keep them. We read books that said that brahma cockerels were well behaved and didn't really crow. Then we visited a specialist brahma breeder and she confirmed that they were boys and brought some cockerels out for us to see. OMG do they crow. Just telling you so that you don't get your hopes up. I cried my eye out for weeks after they went.

:(
