Hello Guys;

 

Does anybody know of anywhere or anyone who makes vegan cakes; at a push can be vegetarian. Or even as a last resort have a recipe? Ads and I have booked our wedding and Hand fasting ceremonies for the end of the year so I am doing a little research...

Most of the larger sugarcraft type shops will make certainly vegetarian wedding cakes. Try in your local Yellow Pages or search on yell.com and give them a call.

 

Failing that try Need a Cake. They're based in Reading but do mail order cakes and cater for special diets.

Sugarcraft shops will also have details of local cake decorators who you could contact.

 

I don't make cakes now but when I was making Wedding Cakes mine were always vegetarian(I think most fruit cakes are anyway?) and mostly organic ingredients - because I could only produce what I would eat myself. I also offered a vegan cake.
