My birthday present to myself is 8 days shopping in Toronto in mid-March

 

The Eddie Bauer curvy jeans I bought in December are already too big so I need to go back to buy a smaller pair

 

I'm also looking forward to window shopping in my other favourite stores - Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma and Crate & Barrel

how great, what a lovely way to treat yourself

 

We want to go to NY so I had a look see but all the flights to NY from Manchester have a connecting flight, making the journey too long for me. Don't s'pose anyone knows a cheap, direct flight to NY in May?

£603-00 sounds good to me however the pound is crashing against the dollar so you need to buy dollars now if you are going in May. It is allready below 1.4 it could be parity by May

Ooooh NY and Toronto in one thread.

 

My best friend lives in Toronto and is expecting in June - I havn't seen her for about 3 years now and I'm planning to go over in summer 2010 - she's just bought a house so accomodation is sorted now!

 

I'm planning to combine the Toronto trip with NY too - which is my fave place in the world - I have a love affair with it.

 

For Toronto great flight prices can be found via a site called "Canadian Affair" They are rather trashy flights though on the holiday planes so service levels are worse than useless.

 

NY is NOT somewhere I like to fly to though - not when the boat so handily goes there.....

 

Poet - your 603 for the pair of you sounds like a very good deal - is it with a decent airline, I've not had feedback of Delta?
