Have any of you collected your chicken poo strictly for grass fertilization? I already put the poo into the composter for the veg and flower beds. If any of you have tried this do, you spread it by hand or with a spreader? If you used a spreader how did you prepare the poo for this process (dry it? crush it?)? Egluntyne Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 My near neighbour takes the odd bagful from my girls, steeps it in a huge vat of water and then when it has diluted nicely, he waters the grass with the resulting brew.
