Ziggy
Hi everybody... I was wondering if anyone had Michael Morpurgo's book about Aesop's fables, my daughter has to learn and rehe"Ooops, word censored!" The Fox and the Crow this weekend, and the teacher gave the kids copies, but the last page didn't come through well and the end of each line is missing... If anyone has the book and can easily dig it out and doesn't mind spending a few minutes typing, it's only the last page (which isn't long), ie page 72 in the book, which we need, I realise there might be copyright issues putting the text on a public board, so maybe a pm with the last few lines of the text? (I did check online, the text as written by Morpurgo doesn't appear anywhere, just other versions of the fable), Thanks everyone... MadMitch
Will it not be the same as the original as his version is only re-telling it?
Ziggy
The story is the same, but the text is adapted to younger children, more in 'story telling' than fable style... quite a bit longer too...if we can't find the text, we'll manage with what we've got and we can ask the teacher on monday, but she was doing so well reciting it, it was frustrating for her to not be able to finish it right.
