AbigailGrace
This case may not be for it but my little hen has been very unsteady on her feet and is using her wings to support herself and then she will stumble and sit down.. I really don't know what's wrong.. I don't know if it's the cold weather or she really isn't well. She hasn't been eating too well with the others.. But i really don't know.. Help.. Egluntyne
Sounds as if she needs to see a vet, AbigailGrace. Bring her in and Keep her warm and encourage her to drink till you can get an appointment.
AbigailGrace
Right. Thankyou. I don't think it is Botulism but kinda sounds like it.. You don't think she could be deprived of calcium..? Abigail Grace
LJ's Chooks
Has she got access to plenty of water... we had a similar issue with one of our new girls who we discovered would not drink from the omlet superglug suddenly...?

AbigailGrace
Well we went to Karen (the breeder) and she said she couldn't see anything wrong apart from missing feathers on her chest which she says are from the way she sits down in the eglu.. She said just put some straw down and everything should heal up so she was being unsteady on her feet as it was red rore and very sore.. Also she is quite thin so we need to fatten her up more.. So thankyou very much and she sould be on the mend soon.. Abigail Grace
