Wellllllllllll am going to have to do some intos in the summer but should we get a hutch or an eglu to do them with?????

 

It will go in a new walk in run with a I am getting 4 LF would they fit in an eglu? Eventually I am hoping they will all live harmoniously in the

 

Do you think it's best to an eglu just incase they wont all live in the cube so they have an alternative? Also it may help in case one needs to be separated for any reason

 

And of course which colour should I get?????

I suppose it all depends on whether you can afford an eglu! economy wise i'd go for the rabbit hutch option but if i had the money to spare i'd get an eglu

Why don't you rent an eglu of one of the Omleteers that offer this service? I'm sure there's one close to you. Then you have the security of the eglu without shelling out for a bought one.

I ordered a plastic dog kennel on Sunday which arrived today. We have 3 new hens coming on the 7th of March and wanted to be prepared for introductions. We have a Mark 1 Eglu run which we will somehow attach to it.

 

The kennel cost £35 and can easily be taken apart for storage. We thought that was better than spending more on a wooden one which might just rot in the garden.

 

I still need to think about roosting bars and nest boxes, but perhaps I won't really need them if the whole thing won't be used for very long?
