I have always used the porridge in the morning method of using Flubenvet. However I would now prefer, as I have two different ages of girls and the younger ones aren't that interested in porridge yet to dose their food for the week. Can they can still free range for an hour or so in the afternoon?

Game birds range I think, but I would like advice if someone can furnish me with it.

Mine do. I wormed them a couple of weeks ago. I make sure that they stay in the run and eat only the dosed pellets till around 3pm and then I let them free range for a while.

I give mine Flubenvet on half-grapes as the afternoon treat when dosing them - works a treat!! SOmeone onhere gave me the idea!! Also enables me to know who has what - but then I only have three chickens!

Used to use the grape method when I only had a couple - the newbies aren't however that responsive yet to grapes - and there are too many of them anyway.

 

They have a very large run so not letting them out isn't a problem - but THEY think it is.
