4Clucks-minusOne
My girls have suddenly got an aversion to red cabbage. I went to put half in last week and you'd think I was putting in a foxes head . They flapped up to the eglu end of the run and wouldn't come down to the door. I even scattered some dried oats for them but they wouldn't come near. So I took it out and they came for the oats. This week I gave them some green cabbage leaves with a red edging and had the same response. I hid some spaghetti in between the leaves which I tried to tempt them with. In the end I left them in. They did come down later but ate some as well as throwing some into their water glug. They have also gone off eating corn. Is it just a phase? C&T
They are so temperamental with food! Mine are totally non plussed with corn. Used to love, now I have a sack that I am slowly getting through by feeding to the wid birds.
mostin
My girls do have strong likes and dislikes, but they've never gone off something once they've started to like it , how odd.
