WitchHazel
I was visiting my (step)daughter in ipswich yesterday evening, and decided to go via Norwich and then Ditchingham to see the Chickens on the Roundabout. Norwich was horrendous, I'd forgotten how bad town & city centres are on a Saturday, but the chickens were lovely, well worth the detour. I was hoping that it would be dusk enough for them to be roosting by the time I got there, but I was a bit too early. They are lovely looking birds, I can't believe they haven't been spirited away! I also took the book "The Chicken Roundabout" with me, and started to read it this morning. I've had it for a couple of weeks, but have only just got round to reading it. It's a surprisingly good story (fiction, based on the chickens on the roundabout), and I'd recommend it as a gift to any chicken lover. It's a children's book really, but still a good read. Has anyone else read it?
Ain't Nobody Here
Haven't read the book but have been to the Chicken Roundabout (we didn't drive there especially from Edinburgh, we happened to be in Norfolk ).
