LJ's Chooks
Hi Guys, Im not sure if this is a stupid question or not.... but here goes Is Xeno 200 and effective wormer or not.... we had a lice infestation last yr, and the vet prescribed Xeno 200 and said that we did not need to worm as this would do both. We have used Xeno since then as a preventative for lice and worms, but im now worried... Pickle is sick, there was another post with exactly the same symptoms on sat so convinced myself she was just laying a softee... but no sign yet, and now i am worried sick about worms!!!!! Should i still be using my flubevet or are the girls covered??????? (sorry for posting this in the chicken section... not sure if it's a clinic question or a general...) Egluntyne
My vet said it works well as a light wormer, but it is best to make sure with a specific poultry wormer, such as Flubenvet.
