clairel Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Hello I've checked the three girls over tonight, doing usual health checks - one of the girls has a red sore patch (about an inch across) and possibly some feathers missing just below her vent. Has anyone any ideas on what this could be? I'm not sure if she has been pulling some feathers out? She is otherwise looking healthy, eating and drinking ok. Plum Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Yes sounds as though she's been pecked. There are various posts saying how to deal with it. I've not had experience but what they say is to disguise the sore area to stop others pecking it and to make it unpallatable by using purple spray or similar.
