YickerAL
Sat in the sun in the garden, laptop on my knee, working away with the chickens dust bathing and pecking around the garden! If only I didn't have to work! Andy
Falkor
Hi Andy! I am doing exactly the same. Laptop set up on patio table, one chook sat next to me on the arm of my chair the other chatting away to me at my feet. The sun is out, got a lovely homemade latte on the go too! Pity I have to make client calls for the next few hours but thank god for cordless phones and wireless broadband Em

tidygirlsuk
If my router wasn't broken, my girls could free range so much more.
Falkor
Just hope the girls don't decide to screech at anything just a a crucial point in a call then Em!!! Sha x Hadn`t thought about that Wild Mum when i set myself up outside! They were fairly well behaved, Gin sat on the arm of my chair chuntering away for a good 45mins The only time they made more than a murmor was when a helicopter flew over and Mr Jones who i was on the phone to said "cor those birds are loud!". Then went onto explain that they are chooks and ended up promising him some eggs next time we see him for an appointment Gin better get a move on. She laid her third egg today and we already have a waiting list I had a lovely day outside with them. Waiting for my quiche to cook. I used Gin`s first egg, some of little bro bantam eggs and 1 shop bought FR egg and can`t believe the colour difference in the yolk! Gins was the most orange/golden
mostin
Sounds blissful , I spent all afternoon cleaning eglus and then reading my book with my girls chatting away around my ankles or hopping up on to my knee. It was a perfect day.
