My husband said that when he went to get Pen from the nest in their coop, all of the older hens were sitting inside with her, its as if they knew she wasn't well and were keeping her company. I've heard this a lot with a sick hen actually, its almost like the others know. How sweet of them. Just tugs at my heart strings *gulp* Yes, we've had this happen too and it really does break your heart, doesn't it.
