Gamebird
I smashed my clavicle into 4 pieces in a riding accident. One of the breaks was where the clavicle attaches to the acromion. My left shoulder is now held together with a stainless steel plate and 9 screws. Just think, he now has the opportunity to increase his computer game skills to a much higher degree. Ouch, that sounds really nasty . Does it give you any grief now? Unfortunately, it does still give me grief. I did it 6 years' ago and it still aches in cold weather. The surgeon had to cut muscle and nerves to get to the bones so in some places it is completely numb but if I scratch the top of my arm the sensation is transferred to my neck! Glad to hear YS hasn't broken anything but damaged ligaments can be just as troublesome. Was it your YS who injured himself with an unplanned somersault over the handlebars of an Italian bike last summer?
Ain't Nobody Here
No, that was ES . OH has also broken a collarbone - there is talk of me having mine broken so I don't feel left out . Sorry to hear you're still bothered by it. A friend of mine smashed her knee at uni and still gets pains in it (25 years later ).
