Mrs Frugal
Yes they will get bigger. First eggs do tend to be on the small side but as the hen gets older, the eggs will increase in size. Congratulations on the eggs!
Lesley H
Hi!!! I have had my girls since Saturday and we had our second egg from Lily today. They are small like yours - very cute. It is so exciting - it really amazes me.

Tara.F
our gingernut lays dinky little eggs. she's been laying regularly for a month now and they aren't getting any bigger but we love them and my youngest daughter (aged 3) is sure they are just for her A helpful tip while cooking though, is that recipes assume an egg to weigh about 2oz so I just use as many eggs as it takes to make up the weight and don't concern myself with the number
Mel (& Paul)
that's one of the joys of having your own chooks - it doesnt matter how many or how big the eggs are - they are just for you!
