My three new girls from Wernlas are sexed and ready for collection this weekend - I cannot wait!

They are going to be:

 

A cream legbar (blue eggs)

Silver-grey Dorking (oldest British breed, 5 toes & white eggs)

Double-laced Barnvelder (very pretty and dark brown eggs)

 

They are about 14-15 weeks old.

O redered them mid Feb, but have been waiting for them as the Barnvelder's take longer to sex than the other 2 and I wanted them all at the same age.

 

Certainly I will get photos on here at the weekend.

You do have to see them to name them don't you? As our Light Sussex is called Rye (town in East Sussex) I was thinking Surrey for the Dorking (county Dorking is in), then the cream legbar has to be something like 'punk head' due to the hairdo, then the Barnvelder will have to have a glamourous name to go with her posh feathers.

 

Still open to ideas.
