Guest
I disagree- this hairdresser is right to be honest and say they will fade but thats no reason not to do them. Lots of people have red tones put in their hair and they ALL fade. If the customer knows that then it's OK - if the customer is then unhappy with how quickly they fade then it's their choice not to have them done again. No blame on a hairdresser who told them it would happen. I'm thinking this hairdresser wont do it because she thinks a complaint will happen but if you tell the customer about the fading there is no cause for complaint. I guess for some it fades more quickly than others. Let me just say that I do wash my hair daily and I also go into chlorinated water a fair bit although I try and keep my hair mostly dry (you can picture me in the hot tub wearing nothing but a shower cap if that thought doesn't scare you too much!). I still love my purple streaks to bits and missed them dreadfully when I didn't have them done because they contravene the staff dress code - hey I wore them today with ridiculous pink platforms which also contravened the staff dress code - not because they were ridiculously high platforms but because they were OPEN TOED!!! I'm actually thinking of getting 2 tattoos now - one on my foot which will be visible - I guess that my rebellious phase didn't end when I left school!! Redwing
I have red hair and had it cut to shoulder length a few years ago and the bottom two inches dyed BRIGHT red, it looked cool as heck I had to promise to use a colour care shampoo to stop it fading (I was using Head and Shoulders which they said would strip the colour) Change hairdressers and go for it, it sounds and it would be a shame if you didn't get what you wanted. I saw some pics on here, who i think might have been 'Redwing' ? The hair looked fabulous and natural looking. This slim woman with long, wavy, natural looking red hair? not me Not unless I lost half my bodyweight in my sleep Now I feel great so thanks for that Anyway back to business - get the purple done regardless

Being all modest. I'm sure that was you? As said, back to business, as Redwing and i have a private cat-fight over this discrepancy, you get those low-lights in your hair. You only live once. Guest
I just love all women. Most of my friends are female. Men bore me to death I know it probably sounds strange coming from a gay man, but honestly, they do. Women fascinate me. I love them.
