Oh dear. Poor soul. At least all was well in the end.

 

The scooters can be a bit of a menace at times. I've had my ankles bashed more than once by them. Once when the rider's pacemaker malfunctioned and she blacked out and sort of half fell of it, almost knocking me to the ground in the process.

Our nice neighbour's dad run over someone's foot at Disney in Florida! Ouchee! I'm afraid the first thing that came to mind for me was - did she have a surfboard on the back - seeing as she nearly ended up in Newquay!

If she does it again I think the remote would come in very handy! Or he'll have to drive with her riding pillion - or in the basket!

I'm not keen on this type of vehicle. A gentleman near me has one and drives it as if it's a car, ie in the middle of the carriageway at very low speed, then makes unsignalled dashes into side roads. He spends much of the day in the local, then does the whole journey in reverse. I'm not saying he is under the influence, but he makes an appalling 'motorist' and I do worry he will cause an accident one day.
