Jo
A friend who had some of our eggs tells me that one of them had a totally white egg yolk! It was not 'yolkless' but the yolk itself was white! This is absolutely a first and the other eggs from all three hens were as normal. Has anyone any experience of this and any idea what could have been the cause?

ali-s
I have had an egg like this Not from one of my girls but from shop bought organic free range eggs. The yolk was totally white I cooked it just to see what would happen. The cooked white yolk was the consistency of a normal yolk. The egg wasn't eaten Sorry I don't know how this happened.
