Welcome to the forum. :D

I'm not sure that you have posted this in the best place for the subject matter.

Hopefully a mod will pop along and move it for you.

Not sure what the brown flies could be tbh, but a useful tip is to have a few drops of citronella in a rag or tissue near the Eglu as it helps deter beasties. :D

Although this is disgusting, but I often find brown flies around the dog poo in the garden!

Think they are a kind of poo fly as look different and seem to almost burrow in the poo ,yuck :?

I guess they are attracted to the Chicken poo but not sure how you would get rid of them other than the posts above, once i have poo picked up they seem to disappear but thats a bit more tricky with the chickens.

Sorry not much help :?

oh i think u mean they are a really light brown fly more yellowy brown..if they are cant think of their blooming name but they have appeared v recently and love manure(my horse manure in particular is covered with them)...saw it on dog poo just now out walking.

I think thats the fly u mean..probably more interested in the wonderful aroma..will rack my little brain for the type
