I find myself sitting here reading your original post and the comments and I have tears rolling down my cheeks. He obviously had a wonderful life with you and you sensed when it was time to let him go. I love the fact that he is buried in your garden in a favourite spot. I hope you are all managing with the grief ok, it hurts alot for along time with such cherished companions.
