eeek! My new girls have fast moving beasties, got the disabled girl out to give her her Matacam and the were crawling over me. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............

had a look at the sticky and feel sure it is lice but I am gobsmacked! I always imagined they moved slowly and were hard to see!

Am surmising i need to treat all the girls, lucky I got all the stuff just in case. My old 2 dust bath all the time is it god enough to just put some in the dirt and in their beds>? or do I need to part their feathers, Is it like us you need to get all the through ?

I just gave Molly a skoosh of Johnsons Anti Mite spray round her vent - 2 or 3 bursts I think. I had ES holding her so I could get a good aim . Did it over 2 days and it sorted it immediately. (Egg withdrawal was 3 days, I think.)

Actually, you're right, I did skoosh them all (although there were no signs of lice on the other 2). (I'd forgotten .)

They can feed from humans but are host specific, so don't live on us, but get someone to check your hair anyway. I know exactly what you mean though.
