We've actually been back for a week now but it was so hectic before we left and since we got back (packing/unpacking/washing) that I didn't have time to post that we were even going

 

Anyway we had a great time, we have lovely friends who live there and are good enough to put up with us We're very lucky

 

Although the last few times OH and I have gone on the bike with other friends, this time we took 3 of our 4 children and went in the car. This time was a compromise as ES stayed at home and looked after the pets and house, then he is going over with OH and friends on the bikes at the beginning of May. Well hopefully he will be but he forgot to send off his passport for renewal until Friday

They live in a lovely village near to Auxerre in the Bourgogne (Burgundy) Region, in a beautiful old farmhouse/renovation project and we're not of them at all
