fluffymuppet
Hi guys, Would anyone be interested in participating in a seed swap? I am imagining something postal and limted to the UK to avoid issues with customs. We could swap our chickens' favourite veggies Muppet
Martin B
Yep, I've volunteered for the River Cottage one too!
Nicola O
Yes, I'll be in on that. I'm currently saving as many seeds from my garden as I can as I want to start a mini business next year growing my own plants and selling at boot sales (my own shop would be fantastic but probably out of my reach - shame) - veg plants especially seem to sell really well in the spring and summer. I have dozens and dozens of Canna seeds at the moment (the plants in my garden made it to nearly 6ft this year!) , some from a beautiful red ornamental grass (4ft - 5ft) that pruduces huge heads of seed like the millet sprays you buy for budgies, and a huge red phormium that I'm just waiting for the seed pods to ripen. These, of course, are just for us plant lovers and not the chickens . If anyone is interested, let me know. Nicola.
fluffymuppet
As there hasn't been a huge rush of interest, I have signed up for the River Cottage one too, Martin. Nicola, perhaps you would like to do the same and we can leave it at that.
