Can I dust a sitting broody

Recommended Posts

didn't get to dust her with red mite or louse powder before she got the urge - I know I should have done. As far as last check Gemma had no little friends on her but I know she is susceptible now and has moved into (orange eglu) now which might be more open to insects etc (as right on ground).

Can I dust her with the louse powder now one evening when she is docile or should I just leave well alone now and pray. Putting hatching eggs under her tomorrow night hopefully. Will it hurt the eggs?

Didn't get a chance last night as was out early and back late :(

Could I dust her when I kick her out to eat poo and drink later...... just seems given I am going to be lifting her out anyway might as well do it then?

We are out again tonight so tonight isn't really going to be good.
