Good book for novice chicken-keepers

Recommended Posts

This arrived yesterday http://www.amazon.co.uk/Keeping-Chickens-Essential-Enjoying-Getting/dp/0715325671/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240477673&sr=8-1 and I've found it really helpful so far.

Obviously there's nowhere near as much advice as I've already found on here, but excellent to refer to, nice pics and a good anatomy section.

I know there's a few of us nebies about so thought I'd post in case anyone's thinking of buying a book (or two!).

This one is good too, written by the Practical Poultry Magazine chap. I've got this and it's very useful.

But for complete novice, I don't think you can beat Omlet's very own book, even if you don't have an eglu, as it covers the real basics.
