madchickenlady Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 In trying to coat my bottom hens comb (one of the others is pecking her ) I accidently got some gentian violet in her eye. She didn't react as if it hurt at all, and her actual eye looks fine (although she looks like she's wearing purple eyeliner) I'm reluctant to start washing out her eye etc, as I tend to think eyes are better left alone if it can be helped.
