i_want_the_good_life
I'm picking the new members of the family up in two sleeps time!!! CAn anyone help me and give a definitive answer as to how long they should be shut in eglu and run beofr i can let them run free! They have come from the same breeder and have lived together with dozens others for the past 18 weeks. Somewhere i think i've read 2 days. Somewhere else i read 5 days. Many thanks, Adam
Space Chick
The info from Omlet says 5 days, which is how long I left it.
Jennyhenny
I agree Omlet recommends 5 days and I did this and had no problems with them finding their home again Jennyhenny
smithy36
i only kept mine in for 2 days - on the third day i let them out for an hour - if you do this before dusk, they will put themselves to bed. I would not try putting them in yourself - for both your sakes!! I then built up over the week until they were out most of the day. They need long enough to know where home is... i suppose your garden size could affect this! Good luck - they are garden wreckers, but they love it so much you will just let them!
