Guest
There was a commotion from my girls this afternoon, and I went outside to see an enormous crow sitting in the apple tree eyeing them up. Juno and Rue had taken refuge under a bush, but Honey and Scarlett rushed out into the open when they saw me in case I had food (not so scared then!). I put the girls in their run, just in case the crow took a 'pop' at them, but was it a serious danger?
dame egna
Well, I have had crows near the chickens without any problems, in fact - one went into their run to nick the bread I put in there! I think that's all they are interested in, unless somebody corrects me!
Egluntyne
We have crows in the garden all the time. They and the hens seem to have an armed truce.
Angels4
I've heard that crows will actually get into a stand off with any birds of prey that might be interested in your girls. They tease and taunt eagles, falcons and any other large bird of prey until they get fed up and leave.
