Phoebe
Holly has developed an annoying habit of going to sleep with her head sticking out of the cube door. This means that when I shut them up at night, I have to be very careful not to decapitate her with the door I have to shine a torch righ on her to make sure she pulls her head back in far enough; this of course wakes the other 3 girls up and causes much grumbling

Chook n Boo Mum
We got fed up with the whole charade of trying to get the Orpie who had "won" the doorway roost for the night and took the decision to leave the door open all the time . The cube is attached to our fox proof WIR, so they are safe...... Now we watch them arguing about who's going to be last to bed so she can sleep with her beak poking out !!!! Gallina
I have a hen who does this too. The first time I thought that there was something wrong with the door mechanism and pulled hard. When I realized that it was a hen's neck that was the problem, I was terrified I had hurt her, but she seemed fine.
