Trudie
I have at the moment 2 gingernut rangers and would like to add two more, I was thinking of getting two different types for variety. At the moment the hen's are in a normal standard size eglu which is in a 10ft by 10ft enclosure. Is there enough room for two more in the eglu and how do I go about introducing them and what bird's are the best type to put with them. Thank you
Egluntyne
Article **here** about managing introductions. The Mark 2 Eglu is big enough for 4 hens, but the run itself isn't, especially if they are to be kept in it for large parts of the day. If you add a converter and even better, an extension too, there will be plenty of room.
Budgies
I would say with that size run that there is the space for 2 newbies! Maybe someone with 4 hens in a standard eglu could let us know how practical that is. When I had two hens they always wanted to lay at the same time!!
