Angels4
I heard quite the racket coming from the garden this morning. I thought okay here it is Coco is starting his early morning wake up calls mind you it was 5:15am. I sprung out of bed to get him to quite down and there was only Lucy in the run Chanel was running around the Cube looking for the entrance when out of the corner of my eye I saw Coco go running to the other side of the garden and slip under a bush. Lucily I was able to sccop Coco up and return him to the run. Chanel was still wandering around and around the cube trying to find the entrance, but where was Ethel. After many attempts (and much muttering) I was finally able to get Chanel round up and back into the run. Where does one start looking for a chicken. I searched high and low. I searched the neighborhood. I searched the beach. No Luck. Finally at 6:30 I resolved to come home and make a poster with a picture of Ethel.....hopefully someone will find her and be able to round her up. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of black/white speed past towards the neighbors garden. I peered over the gate and there was Ethel pecking through the tall grass. I guess the girls got out at the back of the cube which I didn't have fastened (key word is "didn't") but it is now. I left it unfastened for easy acces to the underneath of the cube so I could slide their galvanised waterer and feeder into the run. Happy to report that all is well at "Chet Poulet".
