Well, what a night I've had!!

 

It was my Grandads 87th Birthday in Feb, and for his birthday I bought him tickets for me and him to see Rhydian Roberts in Cardiff, which was tonight.

 

I picked him up nice and early in my lovely convertible car, and we headed down the M4.

 

However, fate was to play a cruel trick on me and Grandad and I broke down!!! My car is less than a month old with only 800 miles on the clock

 

I phoned the AA, who told us to get out of the car and stand away and they would be there as soon as possible.

 

Thank goodness it was dry.

 

So, I'm half an hour away from home with a concert to get to and my elderly Grandfather. So I did what every half crazed woman would do and phoned my hubby, who drove his old reliable Astra to meet us, and I drove that to the concert whilst my hubby waited in the cold for the AA

 

He really is my knight in shining armour!

 

Grandad and I got to the concert in time, and it was fantastic. Grandad had a lovely evening, and so did I.

I'm going to make his favourite tea tomorrow night (Fillet Steak) and I'm going to do his ironing

 

He is an angel and deserves the best, I am a very lucky woman!
