Does anyone have a scooter We really can't afford to run 2 cars anymore esp since my 17yo Volvo estate drinks petrol like water. But there are occassions when you need to have more than leg power. For these reasons we were thinking of getting a 50 or 125 cc scooter. I quite like the idea of the eco (electric) scooter but a petrol engine is much cheaper. Would love to hear about anyone's scooter experiences good or bad. Thanks as always. Allisonx

Hi - we have electric bikes & electric scooter type bikes. They are good fun for popping to the shops on - but not for long journeys. We have had many a laugh on them though. My hubby is the one to talk to about them as he even built one himself & made an electric trike for a disabled paper lady. Bless him.

They do electric cars now - which have had good reviews. It would be good if you just tootle about on short journeys.

 

Petrol scooters - we like the Yamaha Fina ! Very nice they are!
