craftyhunnypie
Is there any behaviour a broody does in particular, when the eggs are very close to hatching? Can you tell I can't wait?! Come on Marlene - hurry up! Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
We are not certain of what day they are due - we can't remember when she originally started sitting on the eggs. So they are due from tomorrow to Thursday this week. So if nothing by next Sunday then - we will assume nothing is going to hatch. She has been a good reliable broody though. tidygirlsuk
I don't know but as i have a broody on eggs and it's my first hatch, i'm intrested in all the hatching topics. Good luck with your hatch.
freckles
We had a broody bantam hatch one chick last month and there was no sign that they were imminent but it took ages to hatch (25 days!) I was about to turf her off the eggs and give up when the little head appeared from under her wing She was sitting on 3 but only one hatched. Give them plenty time before you lose hope.
