My girls have just started laying (for a week)

.while the others are egg machines with one a day so far I have noticed that one has had a hard time and we had one every other day. I know that this is normal. However, She has been making that loud "I'm laying an egg" for 2 days, darting back and forth into the house.

When finally she did lay, it had a few streaks on what looked like dried blood but other wise a perfect egg.

Is this something I should be concerned about or is it just getting into the swing of things?

(Long winded I'm sorry)

I just love my girls and I want to make sure they are happy.

it's not unusual for hens to lay weggs with blood streaks on them, just watch that she's not bleeding too much.

 

They all have different cycles with their eggs - much like humans.
