emmamakeup Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Hi everyone Just wondering if any of you have any ideas for protecting the garden ie when replenishing or improving the grass? I like to let my girls free range for at least a couple of hours a day so I guess if I want my garden to keep looking nice I'll have to work at it Any tips? bluekarin Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 just fench off an area you are happy for them to roam about in. Thats what I do. I got some fleece stuff from Poundland (other cheap shops are available) and thread it onto bamboo which I push into the ground. Then, when they, or I, have had enough, pop them in their run, take the canes out and voila! You have your garden back. I have veggies growing near the house and their run is in the middle of the garden, so when they are out, once a week, they have the top all to themselves.
