How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Well for the first time we let the 2 babies mingle with the big girls at bed time. Princess has gone into the cube with the big girls and molly is in the eglu on her own

 

What to do? Take princess out of the cube and into the eglu or put molly in with the others???

I would wait till all are dozy and then put the Molly in with the others.

Have posted Molly in through the egg port! Will go out and check on them in 10 mins or so.....

Of course it will Make sure you are up as early as possible to let them out wont you.

Luckily that's my OH's job and they are up by 6.30am I've a sneaky feeling that they'll make straight for the safety of their own pen!

When he went to get them up the two babies were standing in the nest box!! They were not looking stressed his says, so he whisked them out of the egg port - easier than shooing them all the way through and they toddled off to their own pen!!!

 

Should we do the same tonight if they take themselves off seperately again?

I would do the same again. Over the last 2 weeks I intergrated my 2 new BHWT girls with one older hen. The first night I lifted both in through the egg port where the existing hen was already asleep. All was peaceful and quiet until I went to bed. Made sure I got up extra early

 

The second night one went in, the other had to be helped in.

 

Third night as second.

 

4th onwards they all go in happily and are now best of friends

Molly has gone to bed on her own again.. I am sad for her.... will wait to they've been there for a bit and put her in again.

 

She is younger than the others, but I can't leave her on her own....... or discourage Princess from being with the big girls
