4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Two of my chooks started thinning round their necks, now they have what looks like grazed wings. Feathers on the tops of their wings have gone. I've not seen this in moulting chooks before. Is this normal? Or is something else going on?

 

I am suspicious as I've seen a bit of pecking from one of the Sussex girls. Bumper bit for her tomorrow!!!

Sounds like pecking to me.

 

My Hebe is bald exactly as you describe.......Ola has a bumperbit now and Hebe's feathers are beginning to grow back.

Thanks for the advice, my suspicions have been confirmed. Three bumper bits to go on tonight. I have caught both Sussex stars eating feathers and our top chook Hazel has a taste for them too.
