I'm sure I read somewhere a list of chicken friendly plants.... but I can't seem to find it?!

 

Does anyone have a comprehensive list?

I don't have a comprehensive list, but shrubs do quite well, as they don't eat them but they provide shade, daffodils, aquilegias and achamella mollis do well too!

 

There are of course more, but my brain seems to have fallen to sleep at the moment.

What I wanted was a list of plants that they do eat to self medicate and alike.

 

I read that garlic chive is good.

 

I've been looking but I still can't find the list... it may be on another site... or I may have dreamt it?!

All the ones you love best are the ones they like to eat. Best to check which they shouldn't like foxgloves

B and Q sell garlic Chive seeds and its really easy to grow

Mine love garlic chives.

 

Took them 10 minutes to eat the entire well established big plant...
