LittleOwl
Well, after looking for a second hand cube for three or four weeks, yesterday we found out that a friend of a friend of a friend has a cube, run and extension for sale not very far from my other half's office!! After a chat, everyting seems fine, and the price is right, so on Monday OH is going to see it, and pick it up if everything is ok with it!! Keeping all my fingers crossed!!! We are wanting to get some ex-batts, and maybe a cockerel. Anyway, this will be our very first foray into keeping chooks, though we've wanted to for a while, and as well as trawling through this site I will be needing some kind of chicken bible! Do any of your experienced people have any you'd recommend to a newbie like me?? Thank you

Ain't Nobody Here
Well, that was obviously meant to be . What a bit of luck . Congratulations and keep us posted on your progress . Important question though, what colour is the cube ? I don't have a book, I must admit, I just use the forum .
LittleOwl
Thanks for the recommendation Clootie - I shall have a look on Amazon! I'm hoping to order a couple of books later on today so I can swot up on it all!!! Well, that was obviously meant to be . What a bit of luck . Congratulations and keep us posted on your progress . Important question though, what colour is the cube ? I don't have a book, I must admit, I just use the forum . 'Tis green. Which is exactly what we (well, my other half, in his very conservative mode ) wanted, so yes, it was meant to be!!!!
