My eglu will be arriving shortly and I am thinking about getting a run extension... but am not sure if I have quite enough room without having to move a fence and doing some other work.

What I want to know is, by overlapping, can only half (or so) of the run extension be used? I am thinking that another half a metre or so is better than nothing?

Cheers,

Dave

The trouble with the Eglu run is that it is sloping (the converter which is the first extension evens out the slope) if overlapped they would not fit squarely, you would end up with some sort of 'backward overhang' situation and they may meet ok at some points but not others, I am not sure the extension part would reach the floor where it meets the main run  hmm not sure!

Not a lot of help there sorry but of you can fit the converter in do it as it adds loads of space to the run

H KFC I had ordered my Eglu Cube, then ordered the extension, I am really glad I ordered the extension, but I think it will depend on how many girls you are getting. I agree it would not be easy to overlap, unless you are very handy, which I am not.

Thank you! I thought that may be a problem looking at the pictures. :(

I think I definitely want the extension as I am a school teacher and would only be able to supervise free ranging for longer periods during weekends and school holidays. So it looks like I may have to move the fence!
