indigopurple
I have had my lovely three ex batts nine days today and still no eggs!! It seems to be one thing after another, we might get some for about christmas time I reckon. They were from a sanctury so have had two moves. Then we a police helicoptor over very loudly on their first night here. Then we had all that hot weather and now today we have a thunderstorm!!!! Honestly its like the egg spirits are conspiring against me! They all seem to be in good spirits, Tarot who was rather oven-ready is feathering back up and Tara who had a bald patch on her back is nearly covered now. Tikkin who is Queen is just getting plumper really. I started a course of flubenvet yesterday just to rule out that though. I am looking forward to eggs in great anticipation!!!!! moochoo
They may not lay as they're re-feathering. The proteins they use to make new feathers they would normally use to make an egg. You may want to offer them some tinned tuna, cat food or similar as extra protein. I'm sure they'll come back into lay once they've rejuvinated.
