How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Anyone any ideas how to deal with this...?

Isabel went broody and we allowed her to sit on just three eggs from our best hens, as restricting numbers of chicks (had 8 hatch with Gabby), but something got in and took 2 of the eggs when she got off the nest to eat . Now the third egg hasn't hatched and she will not leave it. She gets very distressed if you shut her out.

How do I bring her back to normal, or should I get her some more fertile eggs to sit on?

I really feel she's been there long enough and could do with moving and eating normally.

The egg will eventually explode as it addles, so best to pop her off. She'll snap out of it after a day or two.

You have just reminded me that Henriettas 4 unhatched eggs are sitting in the garden in a flowerpot I was leaving them for Mostin to crack open and see what was inside (far too eakkkk for me), but totally forgot. M

 

Must remove them before they bake in the sun and explode
