4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I checked the Chooks and opened the cube this morning. Violet was in the nest box, so I just left them to it went in for breakfast and a few mugs of tea. Went out a 11am, all the girls were out feeding decided to clean the cube. In the nest box lay our first egg and here it is:-

 

 

I knew it was Violet, she seems a tadge older than the other three, plus she was laying in the nest box!.......

Congratulations . Lovely photo - don't often get a backdrop like that with a first egg .

 

By the way, can I ask if you might reduce the size of your photo a wee bit . The larger size tends to knock the page sideways a bit and can take ages to load for some users. The medium size or 320x240 is the right size for the page . Thanks!
