What is the best Red mite powder!? i have heard a few things about Diatom is this the best thing to go with?

 

My chooks are in a wooden house so i need to get some asap as i dont want to get it in my first house!! hoping to save for a eglu soon it seems a lot less hassel than a wooden house!

Diatom is probably one of the most effective to use in combination with Poultry Shield in a wooden house. Diatom is made up of crushed algae which have sharp edges. These pierce the mite and dehydrate it.

It is more expensive but well worth the purchase.
