-sarahjayne
It's day 2 of marthas egg production and so far we have 3 eggs from her.. We're not even supposed to have one a day Anyway her first ever egg was a bit of a softie, the 2nd was fine but very small (36g) they were both layed yesterday morning. This afternoon at 4pm (?!) She went in the nestbox and scratched around and then came out again and there was another tiny egg! (37g) Im certain it's "Ooops, word censored!"ody elses egg as they havent got headgear like martha Is it ok for her to be laying tiny eggs? Is it a health problem? Or am i just a worrying chook mummy?
Space Chick
Eggs start small and get bigger so don't worry. My Sarah-Jane has been laying for about 7 weeks, and hers have gone from 37g to 41g. Rose started 6 weeks ago at 41g and is now 55g. (I keep a spreadsheet )
