house-elf
Hi, I have been giving my 3 hens about 300g of pellets a day, plus small amount of corn and grass early eveing, but so far they are eating nowhere that amount. I also put garlic powder and spice in it. They do eat it but I thought they should eat more - I know they are still settling in and that may have something to do with it, but is something wrong or am I missing something ? They are healthy and happy otherwise
Redwing
If they arent laying yet they will not eat much at all, when they start laying they make up for it though
chickencam
Mine ate very little until they started laying and even then my White Star ate twice as much as everyone else, although she did lay everyday pretty much without fail. We are getting through far less pellets since she passed on.
